Our White Sage Bundles are an aromatic product made from the leaves of the West’s most iconic plant. Juniper Ridge starts with ethically and sustainably sourced white sage, rolls the leaves into a bundle, and ties it with organic hemp twine.
The folks from Juniper Ridge have been going back to the exact same wild gardens, all on private land and with permission, since they started harvesting nearly 20 years ago. Everything is wildharvested with the utmost sensitivity and respect for the existing wildscape. They return to the same areas, year after year, to carefully monitor regrowth and never use alien or invasive species. Juniper Ridge is actively involved in native plant restoration projects from San Diego to Seattle, and 10% of all of their profits are annually donated to a portfolio of Western Wilderness Defense organizations.
Instructions: Light the end of the smudge stick with a lighter or a match, and allow smudge to smoulder and fill your space with the resinous scent of California’s high deserts. Extinguish and relight as desired. Be careful with fire and never leave the burning smudge stick alone.
