Shipping
For all other orders within Canada, Green Bohème ships within 1-2 business days, includes tracking and insurance and takes 3-9 business days, depending on the destination. We reserve the right to consider all carriers. Note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs and are the responsibility of the buyer. **Delivery times have been significantly affected by COVID-19. Please note that expected delivery dates are subject to change and service guarantees remain suspended by all carriers.**
- Canadian orders over $125 (pre-tax) receive free shipping
- We charge a flat rate of $20 for orders under $125
- To the USA, orders over $175 (pre-tax) receive free shipping
- We charge a flat rate of $25 CAD for orders under $175
Some products are not eligible for free shipping due to their size. If this is the case, it will be noted in the product description.
Certain fragile items, such as ceramics, are not recommended to ship to P.O. boxes or rural routes. This is due to Canada Post being the only carrier that delivers to these locations and their policy that parcels containing fragile goods are non-insurable. If you would like to ship a fragile item to a P.O. box or rural route, we can arrange this, but cannot be liable for damages incurred from rough handling during transit.
International Shipping
If you live outside of North America and wish to purchase from the shop, send us an email at hello@greenboheme.ca. Specify the item(s) you’d like to buy, along with your exact shipping address and we’ll get a quote for you.
Shipping Materials
All shipping material has been carefully selected to be gentle on the environment. We re-use boxes and packaging materials that we have received from our suppliers, use as little packaging as possible, and purchase packaging that can be easily recycled. If your box looks like it has been around the block (or across the country), it likely has! Rest assured that each order has been packed with care, and your purchases should be received in perfect condition. Please responsibly recycle shipping material you will not be reusing. The planet thanks you! ☺
Damaged Items
When your purchase leaves us, all items are in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that your item(s) arrive damaged, email us at hello@greenboheme.ca within two days of the arrival your package for instructions. We ask that you include photos of the damaged items and packaging, and keep all contents and packaging for insurance claim purposes. Failure to keep packaging materials and provide pictures prevents us from initiating a claim and issuing a refund.
We pack all fragile items with care, but breakage can occur due to a variety of factors outside of our control. Depending on your location, we will either refund or replace an item that arrives damaged.
Lost or Missing Parcels
Note that we cannot take responsibility for lost/missing packages that show successful delivery to the order address, arrival at the wrong location due to incorrect delivery address, or those held up due to international customs. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address entry or non collection, the cost of the item being returned to us and/or re-shipped will be the responsibility of the buyer. Once an item has been delivered to the carrier, we cannot control its journey. Please reach out to the carrier directly, using your tracking number, if any questions regarding delivery arise.
Local Pick ups
Local pick up by appointment is available Monday - Saturday from 9am - 5pm. An email with pick up instructions will be delivered within 24 hours of your order being placed. If you have not received an email within the expected timeframe, you may find it in your junk folder or archived messages. It is recommended that you add hello@greenboheme.ca to your contacts, as certain email hosts or security settings may prevent the message from reaching your inbox. You can reach us at hello@greenboheme.ca or text the number provided in the pick up email with any questions regarding collection. Inquiries over social media are not guaranteed to be received.
We offer contactless pick-up to allow some flexibility with pick up times; however, a specific time is needed. This protects your investment and allows for the coordination of other pick ups. We cannot take responsibility for product if a 30 minute time frame is not selected. If you fail to pick up your order within the prearranged window and have not made us aware, a new pick up time will be arranged.
